The neighbors went away yesterday and stayed overnight. They will be home late today so they asked me to go over and feed their 2 cats. They have an automatic waterer now so that is easier and I just have to fill each of their dishes with a certain amount of dry cat food. They also have an automatic cat litter box which is really unique. It automatically scrapes the litter box at set intervals and deposits the cat litter into a box that once full, you put the lid on, never touching anything but the box. But today the light was flashing and I had to shut it off and scrape the litter loose and then turn it on again and it started running. If the lights go off at all, then the litter box quits working. It is a good thing they have me check on them when they are gone. In return, they check on our little dog.

After being rained out, they rode out the storm. The Rays had a hard time finding rooms for their stay and ended up in Delaware and some had never been there before but it was a beautiful hotel and they loved it. They sat out two days in the rain with a tarp sitting over the field. But Wednesday night, the Phillies and the Rays finished off the last three innings of the suspended game and the Phillies won 4-3 to make them the champions. It did seem like a crazy way to win, but they did win and they were sure happy about it. Hamels pitched 6 sharp innings in Game 5 to win the game. The Phillies are no longer the subjects of a lot of jokes. They are the Champs. Go Phillies!!
